The Purpose of Giving
Giving our offerings reflects a grateful heart that wants to give back to God a portion of what He has given to us. This is our opportunity to show God that He is first in our lives and above all earthly things.
We give because:
- God has given us so much.
- It is a privilege and a blessing.
- It is a natural result of being a Christian.
- It is an act of worship.
Starting November 2020 we have a new tool for online giving. It is through Vanco and will be replacing Give Plus. To give, click on the link below:
Vanco Online Giving for Lord of Love Lutheran
One item to be aware of with this new giving site is that when you proceed to the payment method, it automatically defaults to using a credit or debit card. You can give directly from your account as in the past, but must choose that option. You are welcome to use your credit or debit card (and it is perfectly safe to do so) but you should be aware that Vanco charges a 2.75% processing fee on the amount given and .45 cents per transaction. These fees are subtracted from the amount given to Lord of Love Lutheran. You do have the option to include the 2.75% fee in your contribution if you so choose.

Current Wish List Item:
The church council has added the below item to the church’s wish list late summer 2022. Updates on contributions will be communicated through bulletins, activity sheets and newsletters.
- Projectors in the sanctuary $25,000: The current projectors in the sanctuary are no longer serviceable. They both have limited projection capabilities and the color quality is poor. This causes images to look blue. It is our goal to replace them so we can better utilize them during worship services and for viewing video such as the WELS Connection. Any contributions marked “Wish List – Projectors” will directly fund purchasing two new ones.
