Bulletin – Funeral for Magdalena Mae Willitz
Obituary: DeForest – Magdalena Mae Willitz, born on December 2, 2020, died less than an hour after her birth. She was born prematurely to Michael and Erica Willitz of DeForest, WI, after only 20 weeks of gestation.
Immediately after her birth, Magdalena was baptized into Christ, and was thereby clothed with the righteousness of her Savior and sealed as an heir of all the blessings of salvation which He won by His death and resurrection.
Magdalena is survived by her parents; her brother, David; her grandparents, Joel and Dawn Willitz and Joel and Christine Babinec; her great-grandparents, John and Janet Willitz, Betty Krenke, Geraldine Babinec, and Marjorie Melso; her aunts and uncles, Amanda (John) Moldstad, Luke (Kimberly) Willitz, Josiah (Anita) Willitz, Noah (Lauren) Willitz, Miriam (Caleb) Schaewe, Seth (Megan) Willitz, Emily (Aaron) Carr, Elisabeth (Joshua) Janke, Timothy (Mariah) Babinec, and Samuel Babinec; and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, David Krenke, Donald Babinec, and Eric Melso; as well as an older sibling and several cousins who died in miscarriages.
A visitation will be held at Lord of Love Lutheran Church in DeForest on Tuesday, December 8, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Magdalena’s funeral will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Onalaska, WI on Thursday, December 10 at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation preceding at noon. Following the funeral, her body will be committed to the ground at Onalaska Cemetery, there to await a glorious resurrection at the return of Jesus Christ.
